Portals, 2021 is part of my new solo exhibition “Seeing Anew: Earthly Presence”. Started in 2016, “Portals” is a meditative photographic series captured from sacred places from around the world.
“Portals” may arise when we become more open and more unattached to our past sufferings and future uncertainties. Do these glimpses allow us to stare deeply into the vast unknown and accept our life as impermanent and fleeting, yet transformative?… It may be liberating to believe; “Portals” ask us to listen to the voice of our heart and wonder in the present.
